Taking to X, the microblogging platform formerly known as Twitter, Jean-Louis posted photographs of himself with his former castmates as they reflected on their shared years on set.
Jean-Louis elaborated on the collective mood of the gathering, noting the balance of grief and fond memories among the actors who worked alongside Panettiere.

Jack Coleman and Masi Oka Remember Their Co-Star
Other members of the NBC drama’s ensemble spoke out to honor Panettiere’s legacy, detailing personal memories from the production. Jack Coleman, who played Panettiere’s father in the NBC drama, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram.
I’m heartbroken. I couldn’t begin to put my thoughts into words until now, and they will be inadequate,
Coleman wrote. I’ve loved Hayden since day one of the pilot of ‘Heroes,’ 20 years ago, when she introduced herself by shouting ‘daddy’ and throwing her arms around me. From that day on, she called me daddio. She was Haydini, because she was a magician.
Jack Coleman also said, “I love you, Hayden. I’ll miss you. I’m so sorry you suffered. I’ll remember how happy you were on set and on the European press tour; how you championed Tess when she was being bullied; your commitment to animal welfare and the courage to put yourself in harm’s way to protect them. I only wish you had been given that same protection.”
Masi Oka, who played Hiro Nakamura, an office worker who can manipulate space-time, shared his reaction on social media after learning about Panettiere’s death. Oka added his own reflections on Panettiere’s presence during production.
“Absolutely heartbroken to hear about Hayden. “Heroes” creator Tim Kring penned a guest essay for Variety about Panettiere after her death. In it, he wrote, “Hayden was a true team player, which was important for a show with a large ensemble cast. She was levelheaded beyond her years as a person and singularly talented as an actor, with an almost savant-like quality about her work. It wasn’t just that Hayden could learn lines with ease — it was her rare ability to find and explore the nuances of drama and humor and pathos in any scene she was in.”
Those sentiments echoed the initial family statement released to ABC by Panettiere’s father, Skip Panettiere, following the actress’s passing.
