Hyundai Outlines 2030 Roadmap With 41 New Models For Europe

The brand plans over 100 new models and updates worldwide, including 41 dedicated releases for Europe, alongside new range-extended electric vehicle technology and expanded hybrid lineups.

Global Sales Targets and Regional Product Waves

The ambitious corporate strategy aims for a 6% global market share by the end of the decade. To meet this target, regional allocations will distribute new products across major markets worldwide.

Geographic distribution plans allocate 58 new models to North America, 49 to Korea, 41 to Europe, 26 to India, and 22 to China. Across these regions, the overarching initiative introduces entries into more than 18 new vehicle segments while incorporating vehicles from the Genesis luxury division.

European Electrification and Segment Expansion

European operations face a heavy transformation. The European lineup targets 41 total novelties, aiming to cover 85% of the market with electrified options by 2030.

Confirmed European introductions include the Ioniq 3, a compact electric vehicle offering nearly 500 km of declared range and serving as the first European model to run the Pleos Connect multimedia system according to corporate announcements. Fifth-generation Tucson designs are already revealed, alongside a brand-new B-segment SUV built specifically for European roadways as an eventual successor to the Bayon.

Range-Extender Technology and Hybrid Rollouts

While battery-electric vehicles form a core pillar, the corporate strategy heavily incorporates hybrid models and range-extended electric vehicles, known as EREVs. These vehicles use an internal combustion engine strictly as an onboard generator to feed the electric powertrain.

The Santa Fe will introduce this EREV technology paired with low-cost NCM batteries during the coming months, targeting an American debut first with European markets expected to follow closely behind, boasting an estimated total driving range of approximately 965 km. Globally, the automaker plans more than 18 hybrid models alongside its expanding battery and range-extended variants.
