The Russian automotive brand Tenet Plus has announced the start of sales for its flagship mid-size crossover, the Tenet Plus L6. The vehicle is produced via a full-cycle process—including welding, painting, and assembly—at the AGR plant in Kaluga. The L6 is the first model for the Tenet Plus brand, which was established through a long-term strategic partnership between the AGR holding and Defetoo.
Pricing and Trim Levels
The mid-size C+ segment crossover is available in two distinct configurations. According to AGR and other reports, the Eleganttrim is priced at 2,890,000 rubles, while the higher-endUltra trim is priced at 3,040,000 rubles.
The Elegantbase version includes LED optics, two-zone climate control, and awinterpackage featuring a remote engine start and heating for the steering wheel, windshield, washer nozzles, and both the first and second rows of seats. TheUltra trim adds several premium features, including:
- 19-inch alloy wheels (replacing the 18-inch wheels on the base model)
- A panoramic roof with a sliding sunroof
- Ventilation for the front seats and four-way electric lumbar support for the driver
- An eight-speaker Sony audio system
- An electric tailgate
- Soft eco-leather trim on the four doors
Technical Specifications and Performance
The Tenet Plus L6 is built on the PMA (PLUS Modular Architecture), a modular platform that allows for different powertrain adaptations. The vehicle is based on the Lepas L6, a model from the Chery-owned brand Lepas designed for export markets.
At launch, both trims feature front-wheel drive and a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 147 hp and 225 Nm of torque. This engine utilizes distributed fuel injection, a chain-driven timing system, and is designed for AI-92 gasoline. It is paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch robotic transmission. The vehicle has a 57-liter fuel tank and a claimed mixed-cycle fuel consumption of 6.9 liters per 100 km.
According to Nikolay Ivanov, Director of the New Car Sales Department at GK ROLF, a all-wheel-drive version is scheduled to join the lineup in the fourth quarter of 2026. This future version will feature a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 150 hp (270 Nm) paired with a 7-speed robotic transmission.
Dimensions and Design
The L6 features a diamond pattern geometric radiator grille and narrow LED daytime running lights, with a horizontal light line for the rear lamps. Its physical dimensions are as follows:

Interior Technology and Safety
The interior is centered around a vertical 13.2-inch touchscreen with wireless support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This is complemented by an 8.8-inch digital instrument panel. Comfort features include a 50-watt fast wireless charger for smartphones.
Safety systems vary by trim. Passive safety is provided by six to seven airbags, including frontal, side, and curtain airbags. Electronic assistants include cruise control, rear parking sensors, and hill-start/descent assist. The Ultratrim expands these capabilities with a 540° panoramic surround-view system (including atransparent chassis function), adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and systems for lane keeping and automatic emergency braking.
Russian Market Adaptation
AGR officials stated that the L6 is produced with specific considerations for Russian operating conditions. To increase resistance to moisture, temperature swings, and road reagents, the vehicle’s hidden cavities are treated with wax compounds. Additionally, an anti-corrosion and anti-gravel complex is applied to the chassis, and additional work is performed on sound insulation.
The L6 is positioned as a competitor to the Geely Atlas and Haval F7. Through the volume provided by the L6, the brand aims to capture 5.5% of the market by the end of 2027.
