Meghan Markle has shared rare video footage of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet enjoying countryside life in the UK following their family move last month. The release coincides with King Charles clarifying their non-working royal status and Prince Harry preparing for upcoming public engagements in London.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have offered a glimpse into their newly established family life in Britain, posting video footage of their children connecting with the English countryside. The montage, shared on Instagram on Sunday afternoon, shows a red-haired Princess Lilibet with her hair swept up in a bun riding a bicycle adorned with pink tassels while Prince Archie runs alongside her down a tree-lined path as a herd of deer appears in the distance. Lilibet looked adorable in her little gumboots, while Archie matched his sister in a pink top with vibrant blue knee-high socks.
The family relocated from California to the UK last month, returning after six years of living abroad for a new family chapter. The video captures further scenes of domestic life, including the children taking to the water to partake in a day of fishing with their dad, Prince Harry, while Meghan filmed from the shore with their black Labrador, Pula, nearby. The Sussexes looked to be soaking up the countryside as Meghan and Harry, who were bundled up in jackets, held hands while enjoying a scenic walk, with Meghan ushering the person behind the camera along. The footage, set to the 1984 classic ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’ by Wham! and decorated with a Union Jack flag and red heart emojis, also shows cosy moments by the fire and walking through puddles.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Start at a British School
The return to the UK involves a significant transition for the children, who have now been enrolled in a British school. Ahead of the new school term, parents received a letter—seen by HELLO!—asking them to show the family warmth and kindness. The letter, referring to a number of new families, read: I know that our existing families will extend to them the same warmth and kindness that makes our school such a special place.
Out of respect for the couple’s expressed wishes for privacy, HELLO! will not be naming the school. While the Sussexes will remain as private individuals and non-working royals and have been keeping a very low profile since landing back on British soil, their children embark on a new school chapter in Britain.
King Charles Clarifies Royal Roles and Non-Working Status
The family’s return coincides with formal administrative clarity regarding their constitutional position. Following speculation over whether the couple would step back into royal life, King Charles confirmed on Monday that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were still non-working royals, operating separately from the Royal Household. Lord Benyon, a top Palace official, added that Harry and Meghan remain private citizens.
It follows that there is no change to the current status of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Their styles as His and Her Royal Highness remain in abeyance and are not used.

The document was shared with the pair before it was made public. Their spokesperson said regarding the message: They were a little surprised not to have been told about this in advance.
Prince Harry Resurfaces at Soho Farmhouse and Prepares for Invictus Events
Amid these developments, Prince Harry was spotted visiting the Soho Farmhouse, a private members club located in Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. HELLO! understands that Harry used the gym on the premises before enjoying brunch with his wife. Weeks after returning to the UK, Meghan was also seen at the exclusive venue where members said she had an early morning coffee and was introduced to senior staff members by name and with considerable fanfare, as reported by Tom Sykes. The Duchess has a long-time connection to Soho Farmhouse, having reportedly had her bachelorette party at the retreat in 2018 before her wedding to Harry, and remains friendly with Soho House executive Markus Anderson. The couple also previously rented a home in Oxfordshire while Frogmore Cottage underwent renovations, maintaining local connections with friends in the area such as Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, and Simon Cowell.

Beyond local outings, the Duke of Sussex has confirmed his first official public engagements since moving back to the UK last month. HELLO! revealed that the Duke of Sussex will attend both the inaugural Invictus Spirit Awards and the annual WellChild Awards. HELLO! is a proud media partner of the WellChild Awards, which will take place in London on 21 September.
It is always a privilege to be part of the WellChild Awards and to meet the extraordinary children, young people, families and professionals whose courage and determination inspire us all,

This year feels particularly special as we celebrate 20 years of the WellChild Nurse programme; two decades of supporting thousands of children and families and helping them to live more of their lives at home. These Awards are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate that impact, but above all to celebrate the incredible people at the heart of it. Their stories are a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through compassion, connection and community. The
