Pace Attack Struggles and Injuries

However, the pace attack raised more questions than it answered. Gurnoor Brar was used as the second-change bowler and joined the unwanted list after giving away 96 runs in the second ODI, placing him among India’s most expensive ODI spells alongside Bhuvneshwar Kumar (106 runs vs South Africa at Wankhede in 2015), Vinay Kumar (102 runs vs Australia in Bengaluru in 2013), and Brar’s own 97-run spell against England at Lord’s in 2026.
