In upcoming episodes, the official date for the criminalist’s trial is marked. Pilar, played by Isabel Teixeira, accepts an invitation to testify on behalf of her friend. However, shortly before facing the judge, the defendant decides to approach his former employee directly. Suely reacts with surprise as her former boss suggests they should clear the air and settle their differences.
The peace offering ultimately fails to achieve its intended effect. The character played by Julia Stockler refuses to withdraw her legal complaint against her former employer, keeping the upcoming court proceedings firmly on track.
Courtroom Chaos and Physical Altercation With Pedro
As the legal proceedings unfold, Ademir faces conviction in the ongoing process. During the courtroom hearings, the defendant relies on the assistance of attorney Luan, portrayed by Bruno de Mello, who serves as his trusted aide at the law firm.
Tensions boil over inside the courtroom during the legal arguments. Pedro, played by Chay Suede, acts as the lawyer for the victim and fiercely defends Suely alongside other women who experienced abuse from the powerful attorney but whose complaints were not accepted by the prosecution due to a lack of evidence.
Provoked by the attorney’s statements, Ademir completely loses his temper in front of the gathered assembly. The defendant lunges at his own son and strikes him with a punch, leading to his immediate arrest in flagrante delicto for the physical assault.
Vengeance and Background of the Plot
The legal action against the criminalist did not materialize in a vacuum. Within the narrative, Suely filed formal charges solely due to the influence of Adriana, played by Leticia Colin. Discrediting the powerful lawyer serves as the opening move in a broader vengeance campaign by the protagonist, who suffered an unjust imprisonment in her past.
