The LOOKOUT travelling festival returns to Australia in March 2027 for a ten-date national tour co-headlined by alternative rock staples LIVE, Stone Temple Pilots, and 4 Non Blondes. Tickets for the arena and outdoor concerts go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, September 2, following a series of presales.
A Ten-Date National Run Across Australia
The travelling festival expands significantly for its March 2027 itinerary, mapping out a ten-date schedule across South Australia, Victoria, the ACT, New South Wales, and Queensland. The run opens at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on March 6 and concludes on March 24 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, taking in arenas, racecourses, and outdoor concert sites.
Between the opening night in Adelaide and the final stop in Brisbane, the tour hits the Bendigo Racecourse on March 7, the AIS Arena in Bruce on March 10, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on March 11, and the Mornington Racecourse on March 13. The second half of the tour moves through the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong on March 17, the Afterpay Arena in Sydney on March 18, Roche Estate in the Hunter Valley on March 20, and Kurrawa Park in Broadbeach on March 21.
Co-Headliners and Catalog Staples
The bill centres on three major international acts whose commercial peaks defined the alternative rock landscape of the early and mid-1990s. Pennsylvania rockers +LIVE+ return to Australia carrying global album sales exceeding 23 million. Their set is anchored by enduring radio staples including Lightning Crashes
, I Alone
, All Over You
, and Lakini’s Juice
. The band’s 1994 blockbuster album Throwing Copper
topped the Billboard 200 and shifted more than 10 million copies worldwide, while its 1997 follow-up, Secret Samadhi
, also debuted at number one in the United States.

Sharing top billing, Grammy Award-winning heavyweights Stone Temple Pilots bring a catalogue built on more than 70 million albums sold globally. With their 1992 debut Core
, the band established a commanding presence through Plush
, alongside Sex Type Thing
and Wicked Garden
. The band’s current lineup features founding members Dean DeLeo, Robert DeLeo, and Eric Kretz alongside vocalist Jeff Gutt, who joined the fold in 2017.
Linda Perry Leads a Reunited 4 Non Blondes
Rounding out the international co-headliners, 4 Non Blondes joins the festival following a reunion in 2025 after more than three decades apart. The group released just one studio album, 1992’s Bigger, Better, Faster, More!
, before disbanding in 1994. That sole record produced What’s Up?
, an inescapable alt-rock anthem that remains a fixture of the era.

The reunited lineup features vocalist and guitarist Linda Perry and founding bassist Christa Hillhouse, alongside original touring members Dawn Richardson and Roger Rocha. Far from a pure nostalgia exercise, the band has confirmed plans to release a brand-new studio album in 2027, marking their first collection of new material since their debut over thirty years ago.
Homegrown Support and Ticketing Schedule
Geelong alternative rock stalwarts Magic Dirt round out the bill, providing local support across all ten dates. Formed in 1991, the band has maintained a dedicated following through ferocious live performances and a catalogue spanning more than three decades of Australian alternative rock.
Fans looking to secure entry have multiple presale windows ahead of the general release. Telstra Plus members, artist list subscribers, and Face To Face registrants gain access starting Monday, August 31, running through Tuesday, September 1, and Wednesday, September 2.
