Ahead of the 2027 presidential election, political stakeholders, federal agency leaders, and support groups have stepped up mobilisation efforts for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In Bayelsa State, the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) pledged to mobilise voters and deliver bulk votes to the president, according to Thisdaylive. The Bayelsa State Director of Media for TSG, Udengs Eradiri, stated that the group would work across political, ethnic, and social divides to secure victory.

Eradiri noted that the group, led by State Coordinator Preye Aganaba, intends to use grassroots structures to communicate the achievements of the Tinubu administration. He added that the Bayelsa chapter plans to work alongside Governor Douye Diri and the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership structures in the state.
