Arsenal have agreed a £51m deal to sign Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa. Villa initially demanded a fee closer to £60m, with previous bids around £30m and £40m rejected by the Midlands club. However, with Konsa having just two years remaining on the five-year contract he signed in September 2023, both clubs ultimately worked toward a compromise.
