Anonymous leaker Cyberleek has released four new Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay clips featuring supercar robberies, strip club scenes, and a nudist colony attack. While Rockstar Games prepares for an official gameplay reveal on Netflix, Take-Two Interactive subpoenas indicate the leaked material is authentic.
Just days before Rockstar Games is set to showcase official Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay on Netflix, an anonymous leaker has preempted the studio. The leaker, known as Cyberleek, has accelerated a steady stream of unofficial footage, according to Mashable.
Over the weekend and into Monday morning, the material dropped across social networks.
Four distinct clips emerged. They showcase various open-world activities and in-game mechanics pulled directly from an older build of the game.
Supercar Heists and Strip Club Scenes Surface Online
The newly surfaced clips detail several distinct scenarios involving the protagonist Jason and various non-player characters.
According to Mashable, the first video highlights supercar footage. Jason drives a high-end sports car before initiating an armed robbery. Another clip depicts the protagonist wandering around an in-game strip club, which transitions smoothly into a snippet of a cutscene.
Gas Station Chaos and Exploding Trucks
Additional footage released over the weekend captures chaotic interactions at a local gas station.
In that sequence, Jason wreaks havoc at the location and steals a truck. According to Mashable, the truck bed is filled with gasoline before it ultimately crashes and explodes, accompanied by another clip of the same cutscene.
Crypto Polls Dictate Nudist Colony Attacks
The fourth video features a nudist colony hangout spot. The protagonist wanders around the area and attacks NPCs.
Users cast their votes in that poll by spending cryptocurrency.
Take-Two Subpoenas Confirm Material Authenticity
How Cyberleek gained access to the footage remains unclear. The extent of the unreleased title the leaker possesses is also unknown.
However, recent legal filings point toward their authenticity. These filings seemingly confirm that the leaked clips are legitimate.
