Dhaka Regency signs MoU with IFIC Bank

Discounts and Hospitality Privileges at Dhaka Regency

Cardholders holding debit and credit cards issued by IFIC Bank PLC will be able to enjoy a series of price reductions across multiple amenities at Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort, recognized as one of the country’s renowned five-star hotels and resorts. The agreement encompasses major savings on both short-term lodging and recreational amenities.

Under the terms of the agreement, visitors utilizing eligible bank cards receive a 50 percent discount on room rates. Dining options are also included, featuring a 40 percent reduction on buffet dining alongside a 10 percent discount on the à la carte menu.

Venue Rental and Wellness Facility Reductions

Beyond standard accommodation and dining, the partnership extends into wellness and event spaces. Patrons can utilize banquet venues at half price, while spa services come with a 15 percent price cut. Additionally, health club and gymnasium facilities are accessible under a 30 percent discount according to the press release issued by the bank.

Signing Ceremony at IFIC Tower

The formal signing ceremony took place at IFIC Tower in Dhaka. Helal Ahmed, chief of branch business and head of operations at IFIC Bank, signed the accord alongside Md Mahmud Hasan, director of sales and marketing for Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort.

Senior executives from both organizations attended the event to witness the finalization of the pact. Among the attendees were Md Monitur Rahman, deputy managing director and chief information officer, and Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, deputy managing director and chief of loan performance management at IFIC Bank. Additional corporate representatives present at the ceremony included Md Zakir Hossain, head of cards and digital banking for the bank, and Fabliha Gulrukh, assistant marketing manager for the hotel and resort.
