While the network has not yet revealed the rest of the judging lineup for Season 17, Reshammiya’s return brings back a recognizable figure known for candid feedback and distinct mentoring approaches.

Looking Back at Jyotirmayee Nayak’s Season 16 Victory

The return of the competition follows a run for Season 16, which concluded just two months prior to the Season 17 announcement. Season 16 wrapped up its nine-month broadcast following a grand finale held on July 25 and 26, 2026. Jyotirmayee Nayak from Odisha won the previous season, claiming a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh.

Nayak competed among five finalists that included Anshika Chonkar, Manraj Veer Singh, Suhail Sufi, and Tanishk Shukla. That season, which premiered under the theme Yaadon Ki Playlist, featured a judging panel comprised of Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Badshah, with Aditya Narayan serving as host.
