La Matanza remains one of the most critical zones for urban insecurity within the Buenos Aires conurbano. Within this heavily populated district, Ramos Mejía has emerged as a primary epicenter for violent holdups, leaving residents shaken by a continuous sequence of crimes that unfold at all hours of the day and night.
Morning Assault on Chacabuco Street Leaves Resident Hospitalized
Security camera footage from Chacabuco Street captured a violent ambush during the early morning hours. According to Infobae, a group of motorcycle bandits intercepted a young man minutes before 7 a.m. as he stepped outside his home.
The attackers moved in on three motorcycles, barking a direct command at the victim to throw himself onto the ground before assaulting him. The attack left the street marked with an impressive trail of blood stretching from the corner for more than half a block, according to local resident Diego, who spoke with Infobae.

Following the attack, emergency responders transferred the injured young man to a hospital via ambulance.
The violence on Chacabuco Street did not stop with the morning ambush. Footage from around 12:30 p.m. on the same block recorded two suspects interacting near a white vehicle. One suspect approached the passenger side and quickly donned a sweatshirt handed out from inside the car before the vehicle drove away.
