The Russian embassy statement asserted that London is deliberately opting for an escalation of the crisis while hypocritically professing a desire for peace. The diplomatic mission claimed that British components and technology are driving what it termed terrorist machinery.

Regional governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed that a 10-year-old girl was injured and a Wildberries logistics complex sustained minor damage during the barrage. Across multiple regions, Russian air defense systems reportedly intercepted hundreds of incoming drones, though falling debris and direct impacts triggered fires and civilian casualties.

Despite Moscow’s threats, British officials have pushed back against the diplomatic pressure. Simultaneous Strikes and Escalating Casualties Across the Region
The drone attacks inside Russia occurred amid heavy retaliatory missile and aerial bombardments across Ukraine. Regional officials reported that Russian strikes killed 10 people and injured eight others in the village of Pechenihy within Ukraine’s north-eastern Kharkiv oblast. The attack severely damaged ten private homes, a local cafe, a post office, a shop, and at least seven vehicles.
Additional casualties were reported in Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Izium, while Kyiv weathered multiple waves of overnight air attacks.
