Kris Aquino, the veteran TV host and actress, has officially joined Netflix Philippines as its C.H.I.K.A. (Chief Head of Insights and Kontent Analysis), a role she described as “meant for me” in a viral teaser video shared by the streaming platform. The announcement, first reported by Inquirer and confirmed by GMA Network, signals her return to the entertainment industry after years of absence due to health struggles, including treatment for nine autoimmune diseases.
Teaser Video Shows Her Role in Local Content Strategy

she says, introducing her role. The clip also features her providing feedback on local productions, including the GMA series The Master Cutter.
According to GMA Network, she noted, Alam mo ‘yung wardrobe nila, in my opinion, sana mas may style,
and suggested improvements to the show’s aesthetic.
Campaign Launches This Month, With Three Episodes Planned
Netflix’s campaign featuring Aquino will debut with three episodes, with the first airing on August 14 and the final one on August 20. The initiative includes reviews and insights into local content, such as A Secret in Prague
and Blood vs Duty,

to make it “more stylish,” resulting in a revised scene featuring Dingdong Dantes in a Hawaiian shirt. Earljohn complied, and Aquino expressed satisfaction with the final edit.
