Influencer Sophie Elise Isachsen has confirmed she is single following her split from Vegard Jørstad and is currently focusing on her role hosting the new season of Love Island Norge in Marbella, Spain.
Sophie Elise Isachsen is embracing single life and stepping back into the dating world while filming abroad. Following her split from Vegard Jørstad in June 2025 after roughly two years together and a son named Helmer, Isachsen has kept her personal life mostly private until now according to Dagbladet. At the time of the breakup, Isachsen wrote on Instagram that she and Vegard were no longer a couple, that they were still good friends, and that their main focus was their son and their relationship as a family.
Dating in Spain and the Reality of Single Life
Now based in Marbella for her new hosting gig, Isachsen admits she feels ready to meet people again. She told the outlet that she felt so ready to date and that she was really going to go on dates there in Spain, noting that anonymity abroad makes the process easier than it is back home in Norway as reported by Dagbladet. She further explained her approach to meeting people by stating that when she was in Norway she kept things like that to herself, but when she was there she figured she did not care, as no one knew who she was and she could now date and talk about it.
Isachsen revealed that she has already planned three dates while in Spain, adding that more will likely follow. Despite planning multiple outings during her stay, a permanent relationship is off the table. She stated that she was not looking for a partner, but if she was going to think about a person she wanted to spend a little time with, it was seriously just someone to have fun with together. She added that she did not want to integrate her everyday life with anyone, explaining that she wanted someone she could go to dinners with, travel with, have good sex with, and have good conversations with, but without that everyday life, noting that she had already done that, was happy with her everyday life, and that they could see in a few years, because right now that was how she wanted it. Isachsen explicitly noted that cohabiting is the last thing she wants right now, stating that absolutely not, that was the last thing she wanted, seriously according to Dagbladet.
Taking the Helm at Love Island Norge
The career move marks a major professional milestone for the influencer, who was announced as the host for the upcoming season of Love Island Norge in late May. Isachsen said in a press release that she had always dreamed of being a host and that she loved love, adding that she was a hopeless romantic, so for her this was almost too good to be true according to Dagbladet.

The production brings her to Spain for the winter rollout on VGTV as detailed by Dagbladet, marking a distinct shift from her previous arrangements in Norway, where she balanced city life in Oslo and a period spent residing in Trondheim according to Nidaros.
