Dimension 20 returns this fall with Toylight, a six-episode tabletop roleplaying game season on Dropout. Premiering on September 16, 2026, Game Master Brennan Lee Mulligan reunites with the Intrepid Heroes for a tragedy-comedy about toys defending the last flicker of a dying child’s imagination.
Tabletop roleplaying game fans have a shorter, more emotional return to look forward to this autumn. Dropout announced that its fan-favorite actual play series Dimension 20 is back with a brand-new season titled Toylight, following the platform’s recent vampire-focused run City Council of Darkness.
The Intrepid Heroes Suit Up As Playthings
Game Master Brennan Lee Mulligan is re-teaming with his core cast of players, widely known as the Intrepid Heroes. The ensemble features Emily Axford, Ally Beardsley, Brian Murphy, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, and Lou Wilson. Together, the group of improv comedians has assembled a diverse cast of characters who happen to be everyday playthings.
Murphy stars as Ol’ Clyde Horsey, a rocking horse wielding his rails like a bow and arrow, while Axford plays Cutie Pie, a kewpie doll equipped with a Brooklyn accent. Wilson steps into the role of Wyon, a battle axe-wielding lion plushie. Rounding out the table, Oyama plays Tinsley the toy soldier, Thompson portrays a cracked porcelain doll, and Beardsley takes on the role of Calypso, a fluffy bunny.
